Primrose Hill is one of North London’s best areas for a walk, a weekend afternoon or a relaxed evening. If food is part of the plan, Jamon Jamon Belsize Park gives you a Spanish restaurant option nearby on Haverstock Hill.

The restaurant is at 177 Haverstock Hill, London NW3 4QS, with easy access from Primrose Hill and around two minutes from Belsize Park station.

Tapas are well suited to a relaxed North London meal because you can order in rounds. Start with a few plates, see what disappears quickly and add more when the table wants it.

Try Padrón Peppers, Huevos Rotos, Croquetas de Jamón and Gambas al Ajillo for four very different textures.

There is no universal answer to that search. If you want Spanish sharing food, paella, wine and a neighbourhood atmosphere close to Primrose Hill, Jamon Jamon Belsize Park fits that particular brief.

A walk around Primrose Hill followed by a table of tapas is the kind of plan that does not need much structure. Arrive hungry, order a varied first round and decide afterwards whether the table wants paella.

The shared style of tapas makes it especially easy for two to six people. For couples, use our How Many Tapas for Two guide. For larger tables, use our group ordering guide.

The current Belsize Park page highlights outdoor dining, which can work particularly well after spending time around Primrose Hill on a warm day.

Jamon Jamon Belsize Park is at 177 Haverstock Hill, London NW3 4QS.
